Group makes comfort quilts for community and work in the "Quilter's Playhouse" which has a Nolting Long Arm machine. • Threads of History Project (Weaverville) - Meetings held each Thursday from Noon to 4PM at Jake Jackson Museum or Textile Traditions Quilt Shop, depending on current project. Members create museum displays and perform conservation work on historic textiles, including quilts. Training provided, museum membership required. New members & visitors always welcome, all forms of needlework encouraged. Work on personal projects, opportunity quilts and charitable quilts.
