Exhibitors are invited to display their quilts in the historic district.
Quilts need not be new to the show--you can hang the same quilts year
after year. Some visitors come just to see their favorite quilt each
year! Hanging your quilts outdoors for a day is a great way to keep
your quilts healthy! Give your quilts a full-days airing and share
their beauty with everyone.
Those who wish their quilts considered for awards
must indicate so on their identification label. Judged quilts must
be turned in to the Textile Traditions Quilt Shop drop-off point,
deadline to submit quilts for judging is 4PM on Saturday, September
24. Read more about awards and judging below.
Security is provided for quilts displayed on Main Street. All display
quilts should be in place by 9AM and remain on display until 4PM.
No quilts may be removed during the show and must be checked in before
they can be picked up to insure security. Don't want to get up early?
You may drop off your non-judged quilts at these secure locations:
Textile Traditions, 555-A Main Street in Weaverville or Weaverville
Realty on Main Street, Weaverville. Our volunteers will install your
quilt in an appropriate venue, then return it to your drop/off location
for pick up. Quilts may be dropped off anytime after 10AM on September
27, and must be picked up by 6PM on Wednesday October 5th.
All quilts displayed in the Quilt Show must have a Quilt show
identification label sewn securely to the right front corner of the
quilt. Follow the instructions on the label for best results.
You may pick up a label at any of the drop off locations mentioned
above or print one from the links below.

NEW! Exhibitor of the Year Award
- $50 Value
Last year a local quilter brought in over 20 quilts for the show.
We thought that type of enthusiasm deserved an award, so
in 2010 Kathleen Dunham was named our first Exhibitor of the Year
and received a $50 gift certificate for her support. Empty
those closets and bring in all the quilts you can--you could be our
winner for 2011! Winner selected by having the most quilts on the
log sheet at drop off location. (Note: Kathleen gave away most
of those quilts so you have a really good chance this year...)
