Textile Traditions is a store and a movement--honoring fiber arts traditions passed down for generations. These vital crafts provided warmth and comfort in pioneer times and have progressed to fine arts in our day. When you make a quilt, you are making history--a treasured creation that will be valued for generations.

Visit our store in Weaverville, California for an even greater selection of goods and ongoing series of classes. We are located in the 1856 Comstock & Martin builing at the corner of Main Street (Hwy 299) and Hwy 3 in the Weaverville Historic District. It's easy to find us--we are right up front.. We have a comfy couch, a lively & welcoming atmosphere and a varied selection of fabrics and tools to delight any quilter. Bring your project and visit anytime. Weaverville California received the honor of being 3rd in the contest for "Coolest Small Town In America 2012" by Budget Travel Magazine. The winners (a tie between Hammondsport NY & Beaufort NC) are on the east coast, so we can honestly say we are the coolest town west of the Allegahnies ;-)
